Summary:
Dimensionally inspect aerospace parts and components to ensure adherence to product and quality specifications to meet customer specifications.
Must use measuring devices to accurately confirm part matches blueprints and/or engineering specifications.
Final inspector must complete paperwork for conforming parts to prepare for shipping, or to continue work flow within process.
Must be able to schedule and prioritize work coming into holding area.
Must adhere to all standards and procedures regarding non-conforming parts, by completing MDR and deferring part in or out of lot, based on product specifications.

Minimum
Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year experience in an inspection related role, which focus on highly specified production parts, preferably aerospace.
Experience in reading complex operations sheets. Blueprint reading skills preferred
Experience with various measuring devices: Micrometer, Calipers, Thread gages, Diatest, Intra-Mike, etc.
Good communication skills
Basic computer skills - must be able to effectively communicate via email
Must be detail oriented and able to follow written and verbal instructions
Borescope experience a plus
Ability to demonstrate exemplary attendance, and to meet or exceed standards of safety and quality at all times.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
