Job Description:
Role, Function & Organization:
Under the general supervision of the IT manager, is responsible for all computer network planning, administration and operations activities. Also performs a variety of complex professional and technical duties related to the installation and maintenance of the computer network and communications hardware and software systems including network and application servers, routers, Firewall, LAN, WAN, phone systems, in addition to mainframe and PC workstations. Is responsible for the configuration and installation of network and internet security. Responsible for the configuration and installation of all network software packages. Is also responsible for the IT disaster backup and recovery systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Networks:
Install and support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
Install, configures and maintain network hardware and software.
Maintains network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting network problems; escalating problems to vendor.
Troubleshoots network performance issues and creates and maintains a disaster recovery plan.
Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment.
Work with technical consultants to maintain solve network problems.
Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations

Security:
Secures network by developing network access, monitoring, control, and evaluation; maintaining documentation Analyze and isolate issues.
Develops and maintains systems, applications, security, and network configurations.
Monitor networks to ensure security and availability to specific users.
Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security.

User Support: With IT Team:
Prepares users by designing and conducting training programs; providing references, support and guidance.
Setup and maintain network users and identify user needs.
Provide training for users on network, websites, software and hardware as needed.
Administer servers, desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, personal digital assistants, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches.
Other:
Works to achieve network needs within the IT Budget.
Meets financial requirements by submitting information for budgets; monitoring expenses.

Safety/Hazard Recognition & Elimination:
Pre-plan and identify the methods to eliminate hazards daily by work task.
Execute skill in observing habits and hazards of others, and bringing it to their attention.
Uphold safety as the most important goal of our company. Support goal of achieving zero accidents.
Promote and encourage open communication between field and office regarding all safety concerns, suggestions, improvements, and PPE needed.
Obtain safety training as expected by all company personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires a high degree of self-motivated and have a desire to work in a team-based environment contributing immediately.
A bachelor's degree in IT Networking with 1-2 years of Microsoft experience in the field or in a related area
Or an associate's degree with more than 3 years' experience with appropriate Microsoft Network Certifications.
Flexible work schedules, occasional evening and weekend work.

EXPERIENCE, SKILL & ABILITIES:
Positive safety attitude and personal integrity - both are non-negotiable
Computer/technical skills including experience with Microsoft Servers, Networks and Office 365.
Cisco/Meraki routers, switches and access point knowledge.
Knowledge of SonicWall firewall programming.
Communication skills to deal effectively and appropriately with people over phone and in person.
Writing skills utilizing strong grammar knowledge or order to convey information and ideas in letters, memos, etc. so others will understand.
Ability to reason and think logically in problem solving.
Professional and positive attitude toward responsibilities and coworkers.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize various daily responsibilities.
Competence to keep company information strictly confidential
Ability to see details and recognize errors, working within precise standards of accuracy
Be a team player and able to work with PPC FIT Team initiatives.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to maintain a consistent workload in an office environment requiring sitting and standing. Travel to various construction sites is essential and the need to stand and walk.
Valid driver's license and insured personal transportation also required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
