Position is part-time, 12.00-15.00/hr
Alliance Global is seeking an Information Technology Intern to learn and perform functional duties for IT operations, Support (helpdesk), and Devops, developing skills and capabilities they will need to perform as a full-time employee within the information technology field.
This will be accomplished by working on various projects and assignments as directed by the lead IT Engineer, in support of ongoing operations. Exposure to a multitude of areas, technologies, and industry standards within IT will be part of the internship experience.

-Tier 1 Helpdesk, supporting internal and external users, hardware, and software

Requirements
-Patience and attention to detail
-Ability to adapt quickly to change
-Ability and desire for growth
-Ability and desire to learn rapidly, both with guidance and self-guided
-Ability to systematically analyze and troubleshoot problems and document solutions
-Great communications skills and comfort interacting with users/clients
-Currently pursuing or have obtained an AS or BS in the computing field
Familiarity with:
-Computer systems and applications (Productivity suites, FTP/SFTP clients, SSH clients, etc)
-Basic computer networking concepts, devices, and practices (DHCP, DNS, switches ,routers, etc)
-Troubleshooting and problem solving practices
-Windows and Mac workstations
-Hardware and peripheral setup
-Email and troubleshooting email related issues
