Utility Systems Operator

This position conducts a variety of duties to include Utility Plant Operator, HVAC Energy Management maintenance, alarm monitoring, pipefitting, and a multiple variety of light preventive maintenance duties to include but not be limited to plumbing repair, electrical repair, and some minor carpentry repairs.
The incumbent's major duties (80% of the time) will be operating the Utility Plant and conducting Energy Management and fire alarm monitoring, while (20% of the time) other light duty maintenance tasks in a variety of trades will be accomplished.
Smaller tasks will include troubleshooting, servicing, and repair of domestic equipment, heating equipment, shop equipment, plumbing, utility, supply, and disposal system problems along with repair/replacing bad wiring, switches, receptacles, circuit breakers, light bulbs, and ballasts.
Light duty carpentry work will cover minor installation and repair of handrails, moldings, bulletin boards, shelves, and cabinets.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
