Overview
Drivers haul building products via flatbed or dry van to commercial and retail customers/lumber yards. Drivers secure loads with straps. Drivers typically have 2 routes per week, 20 stops per week. Runs are typically 2-3 days out. Drivers are home weekends. First runs usually leave out Monday or Tuesday morning. All miles paid. Drivers are assigned dedicated sleeper cabs.
Compensation
$0.37-$0.41 per mile, depending on experience
All miles paid
$18.00-$20.00 per hour for local work, depending on experience
$50,000 per year average
