Registered Nurse - Orthopedics

Duties:
Works full time in a collaborative professional relationship with an orthopedic specialist to provide nursing services/assistance with procedures for orthopedic patients.
Provides all aspects of professional nursing services consistent with licensure, certification, and nursing professional standards of practice.
Demonstrates knowledge of nursing process through timely completion of progress notes, physical assessment, health histories, and clinical reminders, that accurately reflects the assessment of the patient, evaluation, and follow up of patient outcomes.
Manages panel using care coordination skills and knowledge.
Uses nursing expertise, evidence based practice guidelines, standardized nursing protocols, and professionally accepted practice standards to promote patient engagement, self-care and wellness, provide care to patients and determine care management requirements for individual patients or cohorts of patients.
Assists in other specialty areas and/or PACT if orthopedic services are not being provided.
Duty Location:
Canandaigau MVAC Specialty Clinic, may also have to travel to ROPC several days a week for Specialty Clinic at that facility.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
