Dedicated Account - Mattress account - Home Weekends
This is a Class A CDL position. Please do not apply for the job if you do not hold a valid Commercial drivers license. I do not have any type of training or schools.
This is a regional account that delivers retail products of newly manufactured mattresses and box springs to stores. Account will be based out of Dayville CT and will cover the retails stores in the states of (CT, DE, ME, MD, MA, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VT). You will have Consistent routes to similar customers every week.
100% of the loads are driver assist using some assistance by the receiving customer, but will be supplied a dolly to help unload and maneuver mattresses. The products will be tailgated by the driver to the tail of the trailer or on to dock area. Trailers will be pre-loaded by the shipper for pick-up.
Starting work week will be Monday through Friday with Saturday and Sunday off. In general, drivers may have to leave out on a Sunday night depending on your route.
Starting pay is .44 cpm (average 1800 miles per week)
$23 delivery stop pay (average 16 deliveries per week) that equals $1,100 weekly pay average. Plus you are paid $15 dollars per hour if you get delayed.
