Position
Summary:
This positon prepares, seasons, cooks and serves food for cafeteria clientele, catering functions, patients, guests and employees using HACCP principles.

Minimum Education:
High school diploma or equivalent education/experience

Minimum
Experience:
Knowledge of food and nutrition
Previous experience with food preparation/production/cost control
Previous experience with cooking, baking methods and related routines
Previous hospital food service/preparation experience preferred
Sufficient computer skills as are required to complete an online application and the pre-employment/annual ART requirements
In compliance with patient safety standards, must be able to effectively communicate in English; Bilingual abilities preferred

Licensure/Certification:

Lead Cook or Culinary Certification preferred
Current Serve Safe Certification prior to hire or must obtain within 6 months of start date

Subject to varying and unpredictable situations, including the handling of emergency or crisis situations
Subject to pressure due to irregular hours, frequent interruptions and stressful situations due to multiple demandsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
