Process Engineer
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Process Engineer provides the application of chemical engineering and pulp & paper fundamentals to improve quality, process efficiency and production and reduce costs to help meet overall mill goals. This position also troubleshoots problems that arise in the process areas and works with other departments on capital projects, maintenance and operational changes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, Pulp & Paper Technology or equivalent.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Good communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
Able to work well independently and in groups.
Strong leadership skills.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Industrial pulp and paper experience.
Internship or co-op experience in pulp & paper or related field.
