Health Systems Specialist (Facility Planner)

The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
The Incumbent serves as the Facility Planner and will be responsible for work closely with service chiefs, facility leadership, and network and national planners in identifying and justifying capital improvements.
Responsible for compiling, tracking, and prioritizing identified project needs and deficiencies from various sources such as the Joint Commission, OIG, Annual Workplace Evaluation, Environment of Care Rounds, Physical Security Assessments, other internal and external audits, recommendations from staff and leadership.
As the Facility Planner, the Incumbent is delegated the responsibility for the study, analysis, evaluation, and formulation of recommendations for the development and improvement of administrative management and operating programs.
He/she will conduct studies that analyze problems of workload, work distribution, workflow, and work controls.
The incumbent serves as the Strategic Planner at the John J.
Pershing (JJP) VAMC.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
