IT Hardware Technicians

Hardware Support Needed
Needed Short Term Contractors (up to 15) for April - Friday-Sunday IT move.

Work Days/Hours:
Day One - Friday - 5:30pm to 12:00am - 6/8 hours depending on work volume
Day Two - Saturday - 8:00am - 5:00pm - 8 hours
Day Three - Sunday - 8:00am - 5:00pm - 8 hours

Essential Duties:
1) Disconnect 134 devices including printers unplug power and bag mice and keyboard and other cables
2) Move disconnected hardware to 6th floor for distribution to load
3) Power off workstations, scanners and printers
4) Unplug power from both the monitors, printers, workstations and scanners
5) Bag associated cables, mice, USB or PS2 extensions, power cords
6) Re-install hardware workstations, printers, scanners, monitors mice and keyboards
7) Cable manage both the workstations, monitors, scanners, and printers
10) Unplugging and plugging in phones
11) Operations Support lead will be onsite to address printer IP Address routing workstation name changes

Minimum Requirements:
Must have at 2 years of hardware support experience within a large scale/high volume environment to include cable management, moving of computer/electronic equipment, and assisting with go-live.
Must have experience with handling scanners, plugs, and PS2 pins with care
Must have 1-2 years experience re-installing hardware to workstations
Must have High School Diploma or GED
A plus certification preferred but not required

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
