Our client, a growing financial company, is currently looking for an experienced Senior SQL and Database Administrator with both production and test experience to fill a direct hire opportunity.
The Company is still growing and they really like candidates that are very eager to learn new technologies and help to push the technical envelope at all times.
For this position you must have:
SQL
Set up, maintain, and engineer SQL Server clusters in a 24X7 environment.
SQL Server Database Administrator (SQL Server 2005/2008/2012) - Minimum 5 years of experience
Experience working with backup/restore in large databases, DMVs(Dynamic Management Views) to troubleshoot performance issues
Performance tuning tools (e.g. Red Gate tools) and troubleshooting complex queries
SQL Server security and maintenance of security objects
Working with SQL in both Physical and Virtual server environments
Candidates must be able to understand and enforce SQL server standards and best practices
Experience with ETL, SSIS, SSRS and SSAS
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
