Physician Assistant (Gastro)
This position is in the Medical Service at the Martinsburg VAMC.
Positions requires individual to spend majority of time seeing patient consultations for gastroenterologic and liver diseases.
Adherence to established Medical Center policies and procedures as well as VA Directives.
Demonstrate leadership and accomplishment when providing support to Medical Service staff as well as staff within the VA organization.
Implement and comply with administrative review of the service's operations to assure compliance with all internal and external review requirements.
Clinical management of patients to include, but not limited to, stabilization of acute complications and initiation of basic life support.
Provide patient education primarily in an interactive setting which requires individual to have quality interpersonal skills.
Accountable for all clinical duties and assignments per the Chief of Medicine's direction.
