Our client is looking for a Data Warehouse Developer to join their growing team.
As a member of the Data Warehouse team the Data Warehouse Developer will be responsible for the development, optimization, and documentation of data structures and ETL processes. Support of other data warehouse-related data management tasks such as the generation and review of inbound and outbound batch files for operational, encounter data, and regulatory requirements will also be required.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Builds, documents, and maintains complex ETL jobs and data-flow processes using a combination of TSQL, SSIS, and .NET programming
2. Optimization and automation of existing ETL and data-flow processes inclusive of file imports/exports, data-mart population, and data-refresh processes
3. Participates as a key member of the data warehouse team to design and develop architectural structures in the data warehouse and associated data-marts per business requirements
4. Assists in the identification and resolution of data quality and performance related issues.
5. Assists in the maintenance of the data dictionary, schema documentation, and jobs inventory for the data warehouse
6. Provide team members and management with ongoing status of all activities and issues. Escalate issues to appropriate management by recognizing severity and impact on users and other IT systems.
7. Ensure that all project activities are thoroughly documented and current, and that appropriate change management and version control practices/procedures have been followed.
Skills/
Experience:
o 2-4 years' experience with MS SQL inclusive of TSQL and ETL processes via SSIS
o Net Development experience (C#, VB.net, etc.)
o Experience planning, designing, documenting, and building databases
o Experience with security, standards enforcement, performance tuning and capacity planning
o A strong commitment and desire to add to the quality of technical solutions and the business outcomes
o Must be able to work independently, be highly organized and able to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
o Must be able to write and speak clearly and effectively to all levels of staff. Must be able to maintain a high degree of professionalism in difficult situations.
o Proactively provides timely task and project updates to peers, team leader/manager, and others, as appropriate.
o Knowledge of the managed care/ health care industry is preferred

Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field of study and 5-8
years equivalent experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
