Social Worker (Housing and Urban Development/VA Supportive Housing (HUD/VASH) This is a Bargaining-Unit positionThe incumbent is responsible for data collection, administrative record keeping,& monitoring patient or program clinical indicators, thresholds, & performance measurements.
He/she establishes, implements, and maintains referral & screening procedures for potential HUD/VASH veteran participants that meet the criteria.
The incumbent regularly conducts and participates in outreach activities including field interviews, assessments& referrals for homeless veterans.
The incumbent evaluates veteran's situation, abilities, and capabilities to assess prioritization for admission, develops preliminary plan involving veteran & family or significant others, and completes psychosocial assessments.
The incumbent coordinates screening, admission process, & multi-disciplinary team for veteran.
He/she provides direct mental health & substance abuse services for veterans and family members or significant others in support of the veteran's treatment.
The incumbent must also have knowledge of VA policies relevant to National HUD/VASH Program, and VACO, homeless & wide range of veterans with psychiatric disorders, & mental health and substance abuse services.
He/she serves as a mentor to other Social Work staff, particularly those at entry level.
The incumbent is considered a senior clinician with advanced practiced skills & expertise.
The incumbent also provides training to students, residents, interns, & fellows from other disciplines and conducts formal workshops and classes for staff.
He/she must be able to communicate verbally & in writing.
Performs other duties, as assigned.
LMSW required.
RELOCATION EXPENSES AND/OR INCENTIVES ARE NOT AUTHORIZED .
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
