The Peritoneal Dialysis Travel Registered Nurse provides direct patient care for assigned patients and assists in the care of other patients as needed.
The Peritoneal Dialysis Travel Registered Nurse performs all technical aspects of dialysis procedures including:
Assessing patient response to dialysis therapy
Making appropriate adjustments and modifications to treatment plan as indicated or directed by the supervisor or prescribed by the physician.
Assessing patient pre, interim, and post dialysis and document findings
Administer medications as ordered to assigned patients
Responsible for assessing educational needs of patients
Responsible for patient and patient family education regarding end stage renal disease, dialysis therapy, diet, and medications
Educating the patient and family regarding end stage renal disease

Job Requirements for our Peritoneal Dialysis Travel Registered Nurse
Graduate from an accredited nursing school
Current California State RN License in good standing
Minimum 1 Year Experience in a Peritoneal Dialysis Setting
Strong Experience with Patient Education
CNN Preferred
BLS and/or ACLS certification required
Able to work independently while striving for the best in patient care
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
