Production Lead-Finish Sanding, Bolection, French Applied

TruStile Doors, LLC has an immediate need for an experienced lead person to direct the operations of the finish sanding, bolection and French applied cells in our Northwood, Iowa manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Under the supervision of the department supervisor, responsible for managing daily production within the departments, learning the processes, training, safety, housekeeping and other day to day operations of the areas.
Must have excellent organizational skills, and computer skills or at least a respectable exposure to programs such as excel, word, and outlook email.
Must have excellent communication skills and be able to productively motivate a body of employees with a vast variety of personalities.
Any previous leadership experience beneficial, and be ready to discuss thoroughly.
A full time position but must be flexible to possible changing schedules, routines, and tasks as workload and business demands fluctuate.
Must have the ability to execute, trouble shoot, brainstorm, and delegate tasks to a level of meeting expected company goals.
Must have the ability and drive to be a positive role model which others would respect and want to follow.

Qualifications:
o HS Diploma or GED
o Exceptional communication, organizational, time management, ability to work in a team, and people solving skills and a high attention to detail are a must.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
o Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
o Strong time management and attention to detail.
o Ability to stay focused.
o Knowledge of product line and quality standards of product line.
o Ability to keep work area neat and clean.
o Must be able to read a tape measure.
LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend instructions. Ability to effectively present information one-on-one and in small group situations to supervisor and other employees of the organization. Proficiency in English required.
REASONING ABILITY Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions, Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.

The employee must occasionally bend or stoop and kneel or crouch and push or pull. The employee is occasionally required to reach above shoulder and handle or grip. The employee is required to rotate head and operate foot pedals occasionally.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
