Licensed Practical Nurse - LPN
Maxim Staffing Solutions is actively seeking LPNs with an interest in Corrections for part time, per diem and full time work opportunities in the Columbus area! Must be willing to work day, night and weekend shifts with flexibility!
Required
Experience:
o 2 years of LPN experience required (no exceptions)
o 12 hour shifts
o Background in mental health, psychiatric ward, or corrections environment is preferred
o Must be proficient with administering medications to patients
o Interpret medical data and prepare medical reports
o Maintain effectiveness and professionalism while under pressure
o Maintain confidentiality
o Starting pay is $17/hour

Responsibilities include:
o Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
o Performs focused interview to identify specific patient's needs.
o Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient's condition.
o Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
Qualifications include:
o Current Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse License.
o Full command, verbal and written, of the English language.
o Current Health Certificate (per facility).
o Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
o One year prior professional nursing experience Preferred.
o Current BLS card.
o Successful completion of the screening tests
