Job Description
A leading manufacturer in Monrovia is looking for a Dynamics AX Developer with analysis skills with at least two (2) years of current experience in a fast paced environment with the ability to multitask. This position is a full time on-site position and will not sponsor H1B candidates.

Summary:
Working independently or in a team with general supervision, this position's main responsibility is to participate in a dynamic cross-functional manufacturing environment supporting Information Systems development, deployment and system maintenance. This role will be involved in all phases of the project lifecycle from design to deployment; design, develop, test, analyze, and maintain software applications including integration with existing client systems. This individual will also provide documentation for solutions as required and work in a fluid team environment with other developers, analysts, project managers and client staff. This position requires a self-starter personality with good business acumen, good programming skills as well as advanced knowledge on development and database tools.
Essential Functions:
o The AX Developer will successfully develop modifications, customizations, integrations, provision data, and generate web-based reports from Dynamics AX 2012 R2 and other related products.
o This position involves software development and maintenance throughout the entire project life cycle for a variety of mission-critical, enterprise applications.
o The ideal candidate must be capable of effective collaboration with in-house technical, functional, and end user team members, as well as third-party software and services providers of our extended teams.
o The candidate will be a motivated and energetic developer who takes initiative, enjoys finding solutions to a varying number of challenges, is detail-oriented, and takes extreme pride in their work.
Skills:
o Experience with large scale software deployment (clustering, load balancing, and scalability)
o The successful candidate will be capable of working independently, as well as with a team, in supporting these Microsoft based applications
o Design and implement new functionality by taking a product from technical requirements phase through development/deployment, and ongoing maintenance/upgrades. Support standards, policies, and procedures
o Strong development experience with ERP platforms including Dynamics AX (required).
o Experience with at least two Full Life Cycle implementations of AX
o Translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, recommending the best course of action to improve functionality and process
o Adhering to technical control policies through project life cycle
o Ensuring that deliverables meet deadlines and standards (audit/business control requirements, disaster recovery procedures, etc.)
o Informing your supervisor of important developments, potential problems, and really, anything they need to know to help keep the wheels on the bus.
Requirements:
o Four or more years' experience throughout the full SDLC with primary focus on Microsoft based systems including Microsoft Dynamics, SQL Server and .NET.
o 2
years of hands-on development experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX.
o Experience with Object Oriented Programming, and Java script, .Net, and X+
development languages.
o Technical and functional knowledge of the Dynamics AX 2012 product and supporting Microsoft Technologies including SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, SharePoint, and Visual Studio (2010-2013).
o Solid understanding of the Microsoft Foundation, .NET Framework and related methodologies.
Education:
o BS in Computer Science/Engineering, MIS or related engineering/science fields - or equivalent work experience
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
