Fortunoff Backyard Store is seeking Sales Associates to join our retail sales team in Brick, NJ. The Sales Associates enhance and drive sales while providing exceptional customer service. We are looking for a strong individuals with a customer service focus and retail sales experience. Our Sales Associates are paid an Hourly Wage PLUS a Commission bonus incentive!!
Job Responsibilities
As a Retail Sale Associate you will be responsible for interacting with customers while achieving daily sales goals. You will oversee all aspects of customer service and report to the assistant store manager and store manager.
Responsibilities:
Become knowledgeable on all of our products in order to answer customer questions as well as helping them decide on the best merchandise to suit their specific needs
Assisting customers with their purchases and financing applications
Perform cashiering duties
Recognizing, preventing and handling security risks
Maintaining a positive work environment
Utilizing company reports to assist in reacting to trends
Job Requirements
This sales associate role is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual with a strong sense of responsibility and sales driven.
Additional requirements:
1-2 years of retail sales experience
Customer centric capabilities
Competitive sales skills
Focused team player
High customer service standards
Flexible availability for ALL retail hours including, nights, weekends, holidays
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
