Information TechnologyJob Descriptiono Provide day to day administration of Windows servers and applications, with an emphasis on security and Windows and 3rd application patching.
o Provides assistance and guidance to ERC's Managed Services Provider (MSP) as it pertains to Windows Active Directory security, security features, server patching (Windows and 3rd party applications)o Manages Windows and 3rd party patching for all ERC workstations and locally installed servers.
o Works with ERC's internal security analyst to ensure all resources are properly hardened, patched and in compliance with industry standards to include NIST 800-53, PCI, ISO 27001o Works with ERC's MSP and external vendors to ensure ERC resources meet industry security standardso Perform system configurations, software installations, updates, and upgrades to Windows servers, Windows application and print servers and other infrastructure systems.
o Provide daily operational support and troubleshooting for server and infrastructure applications.
o Monitor system performance/availability and take appropriate proactive steps to maximize uptime.
o Monitor system security and take appropriate steps to resolve security breaches and prevent future attacks.
o Work with various IT teams to develop hardware and software specifications for new and upgraded systems.
o Designs, installs, configures, maintains and performs system integration testing of PC/server operating systems.
o Supports web access and electronic messaging systems, and maintains a secure system environment.
o Provides tier 2 support to the Helpdesk team with tickets, projects, and critical issue resolution.
o Problem recognition, research, isolation, resolution and follow-up.
o Monitors and controls applications, servers and jobs/processes.
o Coordinates with infrastructure to provide high-quality support for new systems, projects and upgrades.
o Develops and maintains SOP's and documentation with an emphasis in security for all systems and processes.
o Under general supervision, implements information security policies and procedures for the organization.
o Provides systems administration management and support for software and platforms internal to ERC or hosted by vendors.
Qualificationso 5
years documented work experience managing Windows 2008R2/2012R2 servers, Windows Active Directory, Active Directory Group Policy Objects, Windows File Shares with an emphasis in security required.
o 5
years Information Security experience o 2-3 years documented work experience managing LAN/WAN technologies with an emphasis in security and security deviceso 2-3 years documented working experience utilizing anti-virus and other security software tools requiredo Experience and understanding of NIST 800-53, PCI, ISO 27001o Experience writing security policies and SOP'so Familiarity with Barracuda web and spam filter productso Strong attention to detail skills and the ability to work independently and without direct supervisiono Strong interpersonal and team skills including the ability to positively interface with vendors and contractors, IT, user management, and peers o Strong organization skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently while achieving deadlines and effectively communicating project status o Be a proactive, solution-oriented self-starter with the ability to quickly assemble the big picture.
o Excellent oral and written communication skills including technical writing and training materialso Financial and banking sector experience a plus.
Education and Background Requirements o Bachelor's (or equivalent) degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from four-year College or university; or equivalent combination of education and experienceo GSEC Certification desiredo CompTIA Server+, Network
and Security
preferredo MCSA/MCSE certification a pluso Microsoft Office365 Administration a plus o Other industry standard certifications a pluso Must have a clear criminal background and be able to pass a drug screen.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
