Linux / Unix Systems Administrator in Richland WA
Computer Resource Team is currently interviewing for a Systems Administrator consulting opportunity in the Richland, Washington area. Our client is a firm that competes globally, is known worldwide, and has been well established for several decades as an industry leader for the markets it serves. The company provides critical services that span across several geographic segments and requires IT support staff that are highly skilled and comfortable serving in an enterprise-wide environment.
Characteristics of the right candidate:
Server administration experience in Linux and Unix
Linux flavors preferred: Red Hat and CentOS
Unix environment: HPUX
General admin experience on Linux/Unix servers with:
server monitoring/ patching;
system performance tuning & control;
virtual server environments using VMWare;
SAN/Backup monitoring;
remote server troubleshooting;
Experience with scripting in languages such as BASH, Python, VBScript, Powershell.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
