Summary:
Assist supervisor in determining job assignments based on production schedules. Assign jobs and job tasks by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assist Supervisor with job assignments according to daily production schedules.
Assist with planning and organizing production according to daily schedules.
Ensure proper packaging for accuracy of size, label, ingredients, count and codes.
Inventory materials on work floor, and make sure workers are supplied with materials as needed.
Observe machines in operation to detect product defects and/or machine malfunctions.
Contact maintenance when machines malfunction and assist with trouble shooting and adjustments.
Some manual lifting of case goods, etc.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and other regulatory requirements.
Keep work areas clean.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or GED required. Experience working with various types of production machinery. Experience working in regulated industry. Good people skills. Organization and problem solving skills required. Food or beverage experience is a plus. Basic computer skills (MS Office are a plus. Forklift certification a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
