Manufacturing Production Manager
Day-to Day operation, facilitation and oversight of two production shifts for scheduled bottling runs. Responsible for daily management of production Quality, Efficiency and Processes. Coordinate with appropriate personnel to ensure proper storage, retrieval, supplies, and equipment. Management of shift leads on both first and second shift.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Oversight of scheduled fill runs maintaining quality control standards as defined by Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard operating procedures.
- Ensure finished product is filled and packaged properly with respect to SEBB quality standards, SOPs, GMPs, and product specifications.
- Facilitation of training and supervision of production leads. Equipment operators and packers in all areas pertaining to production, packing, and finished product with respect to all QC requirements, SOPs, GMPs and appropriate certifications.
- Ensure team adheres to the SOPs, GMPs, Quality control standards and basic employee requirements.
- Work together with QC to verify that all components listed in the batch record necessary for a run are utilized correctly and full compliance with all specifications is met.
- Coordinate with the warehouse manager in retrieving and receiving raw ingredients and run components for any special needs.
- Coordinate with maintenance manager to ensure equipment is ready prior to scheduled run.
- Identify areas of opportunity and focus on continuous improvement.
- Special projects as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 3-5 years related experience
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or scheduled form.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
