Women's Services Director
DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for the maternity unit and all sub-units.
Coordinates activities related to labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and the baby nursery.
May also be responsible for community outreach programs through education and women's health initiatives.
Operates within a set budget and in accordance with organizational performance standards.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
Leads and directs the work of others.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Typically reports to top management.
EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BS or masterEUR(TM)s degree in nursing preferred LICENSURES/ CERTIFICATIONS:
RN licensure in the State of Arkansas or Compact Licensure Agreement, Current BLS or within first week of orientation Qualification/Certification:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BS or masterEUR(TM)s degree in nursing preferred Min.
Experience :
3-5 yr.
