ICU Director

POSITION
Summary:
The Director is responsible for all nursing operations of the Critical Care unit.
Works closely with medical staff leadership and Clinical Managers to develop, implement, and maintain clinical programs that enhance quality of care and achieve a high level of patient and provider satisfaction.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES:
RN with NM or compact state license, ACLS required.
CCRN preferred.
SKILLS:
Strong leadership skills and previous critical care management experience including facilitating interdisciplinary team collaboration.

EUR Strong financial management and budgeting skills EUR Effective communication skills (verbal and written) EUR Strong analytical skills EUR Ability to problem solve; ability to appropriately confront issues EUR Ability to motivate others as individuals and as a team EUR Ability to plan, organize, direct, and manage the activities of others EUR Ability to effectively design and manage projects EUR Ability to communicate with a wide variety of audiences EUR Experience in dealing with physicians on an administrative level and ability to work collaboratively with medical staff members and leadership EUR Ability to analyze data and utilize data in a meaningful and useful manner EUR Strong knowledge of clinical and financial information systems, chargemaster, revenue cycle, including quantitative analysis tools, benchmarking tools, and PC applications such as Microsoft and Excel EUR Strong nursing knowledge and clinical skills EUR Ability to effectively run meetings to negotiate deadlines
Experience:
Minimum of five years experience in progressive Critical Care nursing administration or other settings appropriate to this position.
Qualification/Certification:
Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
RN with NM or compact state license, ACLS required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
