Controller wanted in Parkersburg, WV!
Our client located in scenic Southeast Ohio is part of a global corporation that is a leader in multiple markets, most notably automotive. Due to increasing sales, this large manufacturing facility and tier-one supplier to the Big Three has experienced growth in recent years. This company takes pride in their employees and helps them develop their careers by providing training at all levels. To meet this rapidly increasing demand and to continue their role as a market leader, our client is looking to add a Controller to their management team.
Responsibilities of the Controller include:
Provide plant financial leadership as a key member of the plant management team
Effectively comply with all financial guidelines and GAAP
Develop the overall plant budget and forecasting and reporting activities
Requirements of the Controller include:
A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance, an MBA or CPA is also highly preferred
At least 5 years experience in a similar role within a large manufacturing facility
Knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and other applicable financial standards
Previous managerial experience and the ability to oversee the plant's other financial personnel

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
