Wireless Retail Store Manager - T-Mobile


Job Responsibilities

As a Wireless Retail Store Manager, you will coach and develop your store team to deliver T-Mobile's Retail Promise to every customer. Your commitment to the five pillars of great retail performance (World Class Service, High Performing Teams, Visual Merchandising, Operations Excellence and Financial Results) will yield outstanding results for your customers, your store, and your career.

Your specific duties as a Wireless Retail Store Manager will include:

Offering consultative sales and service on the sales floor during retail hours (including nights and weekends)
Recruiting, developing, motivating and managing a high-performing team
Meeting and exceeding individual and team sales goals
Keeping abreast of the rapidly evolving T-Mobile technology
Creating an environment for discovery in your store that sparks new ideas for using mobile communications
Executing the processes and procedures that ensure that the back of the store works as well as the front from a customer perspective
Cultivating long-term customer relationships

REQUIREMENTS:

As a Wireless Retail Store Manager, you must be a proven leader with a rare blend of interpersonal savvy and operations and finance expertise. You must also have stellar decision-making, problem-solving and active listening talents as well as the ability to demonstrate grace under pressure in a fast-paced environment. It is also important that you display excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as world-class customer-service abilities.

Specific qualifications for the Wireless Retail Store Manager role include:

High school diploma or GED
BA/BS degree or equivalent education through work experience
Sales and sales management experience with a customer-focused, operationally excellent retail organization
Established record of high personal performance
Proven track-record of consultative sales and sales management in fields involving consumer technology, applications and content
Ability to set a high bar for excellence among your staff
Talent for personnel training, coaching and development
Strong team-player mentality
Operational and financial performance management skills, especially site P&L management
Basic computer know-how and familiarity with common business applications (web browsers, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, etc.)
Bilingual abilities in Spanish and English, a plus
