Registered Nurse- Float (ICU/Step-Down/Med-Surg)
Positions:
Float - ICU/Step-down/MS RN Shifts:
Days/Nights Looking for Float Pool RN's that can work ICU, IMC, and Med/Surg.
Assignments will vary based on the census and needs of the hospital.
NEED:
2 RNs that can work ICU/IMC and 4 RNs that can work IMC/Medical.
ICU:
Required BLS and ACLS.
TNCC preferred.
There are two ICUs:
22-bed medical ICU and a 11-bed surgical ICU.
The standard ratio is 2:
1 however this will vary based on the acuity of the patients.
IMC:
Requires BLS and ACLS.
We have three IMCs:
a 22-bed progressive care unit, 52-bed cardiac unit, and 27-bed stroke unit.
Nurses will be required to float between all of these nursing units.
The standard ratio is 4:
1 however this will vary based on the acuity of the patients.
Med/Surg:
Require BLS.
ACLS preferred.
We have a 31-bed medical unit, 31-bed surgical unit, 21-bed oncology unit, 24-bed ortho unit, and 26-bed rehab unit.
Nurses would be required to float between the units.
The standard ratio is 5-6:
