Reports To: Project Manager, Senior Project Manager/Team Leader, or Branch Manager

Status: Exempt

Scope of Position: Assist with performing the design and engineering services related to residential and commercial land development projects.

Primary Duties and
Responsibilities:

1.Conceptualize the initial civil design approach for assigned phases of large land/site development and/or has responsibility for the civil engineering work on an aforementioned type project of limited scope.
2.Assist with the development of plans, specifications, and reports as needed on assigned tasks.
3.Provide technical assistance in the resolution of design problems that may include performing field investigation or inspections, detailed design work, and detailed checking of design computations done by others, or general coordination of specific design aspects into a project.
4.Serve as a liaison between clients and agencies; subcontractors, and design teams on basic project issues.
5.Review plans and prepare or review technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates.

Position Requirements:

6.Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
7.1 year of related Civil Engineering/Land Development experience is preferred. Internships will count towards relevant experience.
8.EIT License preferred.
9.Must have classroom and/or working experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D design software.
10.Prior civil engineering related internships/co-op experience is a plus.
11.Strong GPA and track record of leadership is strongly preferred.
12.Knowledge of computer applications systems and design software such as: AutoCAD, Microsoft office, haestad methods, etc.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
