Residential Security Installer

Outsource is on the hunt for experienced security technicians for long term contract and contract to hire opportunities in the DC metropolitan area. This position offers paid training and is a great way to learn more about the security industry. What we are looking for:
Wiring, installing and servicing of security systems, access controls, intrusion systems, cable TV, internet and phone systems in a residential environment
Experience working with any of the following security systems including: Honeywell, ADT, GE, DSC, Ademco, etc.
Candidates that can work independently and within a team environment.
Nice to haves:
Certifications and/or formal training in any of the above listed systems a HUGE Plus.
Strong computer skills for programming.
Requirements
You must be able to pass a background check, reference check and drug screen.
You must have reliable transportation and a valid driver license. Some positions require a clean DMV record.
Own your own basic hand tools.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
