Plant Quality Professional

MAJOR FUNCTION:
Assist management team in the implementation of quality plans and procedures. Maintain and drive continuous improvement of ISO/TS16949 quality systems and ISO 14001 environmental system. Provide guidance and training to plant manufacturing and support teams. Develop, maintain, and control quality system procedures, work instructions, inspection instructions, and related gages and equipment.

Essential Functions:
1. Supervises receiving inspection program to procedures; coordination & follow-up with suppliers and corporate laboratory
2. Supervises and/or performs and reports results of incoming, in-process and out-going quality audits.
3. Supervises and assists in the resolution of both supplier and customer quality issues.
4. Assist in the development, maintenance and control of QA documents, including but not limited to: Inspection and quality plans, procedures, and workstation instructions. Review, distribute, obsolete, and ensure removal of changed documents.
5. Work with cross functional teams to develop, maintain and implement procedures for corrective action, both internal and external, including but not limited to; recording, investigating, eliminating and controls to prevent loss of resources.
6. Supervises and/or performs and reports results of product and tooling inspections.
7. Ensure Non-conforming products are identified, segregated, and when practical, moved to the hold area. Establish inspection and re-work standards. Verify products that have been sorted or re-worked meet customer standards. Obtain approval from appropriate authority to dispose of non-conforming products.
8. Assists operators and production supervisors in performance of first and last piece inspection process to established standards.
9. Supervises and maintains statistical charts and reports.
10. Supervises and/or assists in training and evaluation of plant personnel in proper use of inspection equipment; verifies and reports accuracy and G R/R.
11. Supervises and/or maintains customer material/SPC Certification Program. Supervises and/or collects, organizes and presents data to ensure customer requirements are met.
12. Supervises and assists in problem solving and identification of areas for improvements.
13. Performs special projects as assigned by the management team, organizes and presents data in statistical format.
14. Supervises, maintains, and updates all quality reports and files; paper and electronic.
15. Provides guidance, direction and follow-up to Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) team; actively involving the quality team with the process.
16. Practices safe work habits.

EDUCATION:
1.Bachelor's degree.

PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB:
Two years of quality related work experience.
Formal SPC training with hands-on experience of chart set-up and analysis.
Active participant in the development of a process set-up and analysis.
Active participant in the development if a quality system that has received acceptable recognition from U.S. automaker and/or achieved ISO 9000 or TS16949 recognition during a survey to Targets for Excellence, Q 101, preferred supplier and/or ISO 9000 requirements.
Skilled in use of Microsoft Office applications.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
