Product Manager

Are you a Product Management professional who has experience with wood products? Are you interested in working with an established and growing company with a strong focus on product innovation?
Our client is leader in the consumer products industry, distributing products to home builders and big box retailers. We are seeking a Product Manager with the ability to combine creativity and imagination with an understanding of new trends, analytical capabilities understanding the market landscape to develop and manage the next generation of best-selling consumer products.
Position Scope:
Stay thoroughly abreast of competitive and industry trends, customer needs and other relevant data;
Develop and execute systems and processes to track, analyze and communicate product needs;
Take an active and influential role in the development of the company product plan;
Drive all category-specific new products through the Product Development process;
Work with Product Engineering to ensure that all new products are designed to meet customer expectations;
Ensure timely and effective communication with all departments involved with new product launches;
Ensure that product margins and profitability are within company guidelines;
Participate in various teams;
Recommend product changes that improve product positioning, quality or margin;
Assist in the presentation of new products at sales launch meetings and customer meetings as required; and
Review and approve the technical accuracy of advertising and promotional copy, including but not limited to consumer catalogs, specifications books and price books prior to printing.
Your background will include:
A bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, marketing or wood technology degree a plus;
Minimum of 5 years experience in one or more of the following; marketing, product management, product design, product engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing or equivalent experience;
Strong understanding of wood fabricating, wood technology or wood finishing processes a plus;
Kitchen design and / or kitchen installation experience a plus;
Thorough knowledge of kitchen cabinet industry is a plus;
Excellent personal computer skills - Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
Ability to build effective business relationships with customers and internal clients, as well as the ability to work discreetly with proprietary and confidential information.
Excellent organizational, oral and written communications skills, with an emphasis on priority setting and self-directed work habits is essentialEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
