Alarm System Service Technician

The ideal candidate will be able to accomplish the following:
Service intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control security systems.
Perform scheduled, routine preventive maintenance on a variety of equipment/systems under contract agreement by inspecting, adjusting, cleaning, and calibrating systems and checking equipment to ensure it's in satisfactory working order per manufactures specifications.
Ensures company-owned test equipment and installation equipment is in proper working order.
Returns equipment in need of repair or calibration to the office in a timely manner. Identifies code issues and non-conformance issues.
Makes recommendations regarding both systems installations and service contract facilities.
Reports daily on activities completed and deferred.
Acts as a mentor and provides on-the-job training to lower level Field Service Technicians as assigned.
Can perform system commissioning on systems including loading software programs and implementing modifications as necessary.
Conducts testing and inspects systems under maintenance agreements.
Responds and carries out to completion any troubleshooting and repairs to assigned customer systems.
Can conduct on-going system operation training for end user customers.
Candidate must be highly motivated with excellent customer service and communications skills.


Job Requirements for the Service Technician include:
A minimum of 8+years' experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems.
High School Diploma or equivalent
State of Ohio Fire License required.
NICET II Certification preferred.
Bosch, Silent Knight, Honeywell, Radionics, Keri, Axis, Milestone, and/ or DMP system knowledge preferred
Networking Knowledge is preferred.
Climb ladders that extend up to 24 ft. in height
Carry items up to 75 pounds
Have the ability to work on-call on a rotational basis covering after hours & weekend emergency calls.
A valid state driver's license, without restrictions is required.
Compensation: Will be based on experience. There is also a bonus program as well as annual compensation raises based on merit.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
