Apartment Community Manager

We are looking to hire an experienced, efficient and articulate manager for an apartment community in the area of Freeport, TX. This role reports to the Regional Director of Resident Operations for a dynamic property management firm, and will be fully accountable for the day to day operations of the property and its long term increase in value.
The Community Manager should maintain an excellent customer service relationship with residents and property owners, responding to inquiries or concerns in a prompt and courteous manner.
Essential Job Functions:
Experience with LIHTC is preferred.
Demonstrate ability to understand financial goals, operate asset efficiently in the owners' best interest.
Prepare and/or implement procedures and systems within company guidelines to ensure orderly, efficient workflow and effective financial management.
Demonstrate ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions and initiate appropriate course of action.
Be an exceptional leader; hire, train and motivate staff to perform at their highest level. Lead by example to create a harmonious working environment rooted in team work.
Ensure property is rented to capacity.
Build a sense of community by demonstrating genuine concern for residents and delighting them with first class, proactive service and the ability to smile under all circumstances.
Increase community value through rigorous maintenance management.
Competence in personal computer skills, keyboard, internet search, math, Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as community software applications.
Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations.
Be able to work evenings and weekends.
Present self in a neat and professional manner at all times throughout the workday and/or whenever present at the community.
Three to five years' experience as on-site as a Community Manager.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
