Solution Architect
This resident will be doing mostly block. There is file in the environment that we are migrating at the moment with a separate team. This is a role as an architect who can do both hands on and some design. So a high level Sr IS/Architect would be a good fit.
The environment (block level access) is VMAX, Cisco, HPUX, Windows, Linux. Some ESX. They operate in multiple data centers all are accessible from clients facilities in Bothell, WA. (Near Seattle) The work will be array configuration, initial layout, escalation support, best practice around tiering, etc.
There may be some data migration activity as they are trying to move out of a local to a remote data enter in central Washington. Strong familiarity with the performance aspects of the VMAX and how to monitor them with Unisphere.
