Fallbrook Technologies, a technology company based in Cedar Park, is seeking a Logistics Planner. The Logistics Planner plans, schedules and revises shipment plans to ensure efficient distribution of products to satisfy customers. Schedules product shipments from a variety of sources worldwide (contract manufacturers and warehouses) to ensure delivery of product on time and in a cost effective manner.
Responsibilities:
Create purchase orders in ERP system
Manage purchase orders from initial entry through shipment.
Expedite and reschedule open orders to meet production planning or sales forecast requirements.
Notify management of any issues that impact customer delivery and actively work to resolve or minimize those issues.
Monitor and understand production build schedules at Contract Manufacturers to facilitate capacity planning and order fulfillment strategies.
Analyze inventory levels, production speed and product demand to determine reorder levels to ensure product availability and minimize inventory costs.
Provide input in developing departmental strategies for inventory on existing items, new product introduction and phase outs.
Ad hoc reporting as required to support Sales and Operational decisions.
Qualifications:
3-5 years' experience in Inventory Control, Materials Planning or Production Scheduling
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
APICS certification would be a plus
Excellent written communication skills
Experience interacting and communicating clearly to international partners
Experience using ERP system.
Dynamics GP and MRP experience a plus
Logistics experience shipping product internationally a plusEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
