Position: Medical Appointment Scheduler
Specialty: Neurology
Location: Greenbelt, MD
Schedule: Full-time, 40hrs/week; Mon-Fri 8:30A-5P
Pay: Salary negotiable based on experience but is competitive

This Medical Appointment Scheduler will be responsible for ensuring patient flow of the providers appointment and testing schedules, answering incoming patient phone calls, obtaining and entering patient demographic and insurance information and documents required, maintain patient confidentiality at all times, and assist other areas of the office as needed. Very exciting fast paced position!
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 2 years of recent medical practice experience scheduling appointments
- Must have experience in a large practice setting with multiple providers
- Proficient with AllScripts scheduling
- Must be able to work independently, to multi-task, and be detail oriented
- Proficient with computers and excellent customer service skills
- Experience in neurology is a plus! Not required
