Senior Network Architect

PROJECT NAME:
The Advanced Technical Support (ATS) Public Edge team provides Operational certification and Advanced Technical Support for technology insertion and network reliability for Internet, L3 VPNs, VoIP and Cloud Computing/NetBond services on the SP side.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The contractor will coordinate closely with vendors such as Cisco and Juniper to resolve production problems and ensure product quality. S/he will receive escalations from ATS management and the NRCs and will be responsible for the resolution of complex customer impacting network outages. The contractor would additionally interface with the Tier2 teams and vendors to define root cause for difficult to resolve or chronic problems in the network. These problems will be extremely complex in scope requiring analysis of situations or data and requiring in-depth evaluation covering all aspects of IP based networking. S/he will provide guidance and leadership to the team members and serve as a technical knowledge source within the organization while making major contributions that have direct impact on the quality of service provided to customers. The work scope also involves deep understanding in the IP arena, Statistical and analytical skills in dissecting complex and stressful Service Provider issues requiring novel concepts and approaches to understand the Root cause. S/he will work closely with the LABS organization to insert hardware and software configurations for new network elements and delivers MOPs (Methods of Procedures) to shown details that will be needed for implementation. In addition, the contractor should be capable of working independently on projects that are highly complex. In addition, desirable contractors should have strong leadership, administrative skills, and experience in the following areas; Technical Support, Vendor Negotiation, Operations, Test & Development, Product Management, and Executive Escalations.
The contractor will support the global Service provider infrastructure that includes IP and MPLS VPN services and more specifically Cloud Computing and NetBond. The job entails a very advanced knowledge of service provider gear from Cisco such as the CRS3, ASR9K, GSR12K, and Juniper T and MX series platrfroms with IP The candidate will be responsible for support of RRs, iBGP scale and performance; Inter-AS eBGP between regions; eBGP to customers on edge routers - BGP routing policy; Inter-region ASBR; Inter-AS MP-eBGP Option C between regions; Inter-AS end-to-end performance. Advanced knowledge of technologies such as Ethernet, Frame-relay, ATM, PPP, LACP, etc.
Qualifications:
Expert level experience with Juniper T and MX series routers, ASR9K, CISCO CRS3, and GSR12K
Expert level experience with JUNOS, Cisco IOS and IOS XR
Expert level experience with Cisco route policy and RPL, JUNOS route policy and firewall filters
Expert level experience with Ethernet, Frame-relay, ATM, PPP, MLPPP, MLFR, BFD etc.
Expert level experience with Multicast, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, LDP, RSVP etc.
Expert level experience with PV6 Deployment and Carrier Grade NAT: 6RD/NAT44/NAT64.
Expert level experience with Voice codec's and signaling protocols
Advanced level experience with Cloud computing concepts and principles.
Intermediate to Advanced level experience is also required with Linux OS and virtualization in an Openstack environment.
Intermediate to advanced level experience with scripting languages such as EXPECT or PERL
CCIP or JNCIP level certificationEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
