Personal Lines Account Manager

We are well established and fast growing independent insurance agency looking to add an entry level personal lines account manager to our personal lines department. The agency primarily caters to the insurance needs of the South Asian population. We are appointed with over 23
carriers in both Commercial & Personal lines.
CANDIDATE MUST HOLD A NJ PROPERTY & CASUALTY LICENSE. LIFE & HEALTH LICENSE A PLUS.
Responsibilities include:
Overall account management
Completing service requests including but not limited to: claims, premium payments, policy endorsements and identification card issuance
Providing accurate, thorough and timely quotes and maintaining excellent follow up system
Maintaining thorough knowledge of all coverages and to clearly explain/sell on new business and recommend enhancements to current customers
Thoroughly reviewing renewals for appropriate remarketing
Identifying account rounding/up selling opportunities and processing accordingly
Processing all in-coming and out-going mail (where applicable)
Reviewing account renewals and endorsements for accuracy
Completing the billing procedure for account transactions
Reviewing insurance company communications daily
Reviewing and maintaining current suspense system
Providing administrative support as requested
Qualifications
1-3 Years Experience in an Insurance Agency Setting
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Proven customer service and sales skills
Ability to communicate in atleast one South Asian language.
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent computer and keyboarding skills; knowledge of word processing with Windows experience
Ability to work within a team environment
Ability to self-direct the completion of job duties
NJ Property & Casualty License.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
