Join Precyse as we lead the movement toward HIM Innovation. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled medical coding/auditing professional with a background in education to lead the successful development and execution internal and external facing ICD10 coding training programs in addition to ongoing training to support career growth and planning efforts. This individual will work with the Precyse University team, the Coding and HIM business lines and the ICD10 committee to ensure a successful training plan to transition Precyse coding professionals to ICD10 competency.
This individual will develop adjunct learning tools, initial and remedial education lesson plans, and further processes to ensure Precyse coding colleagues are given maximum exposure at on boarding and during subsequent educational opportunities to meet ICD10 standards. They will utilize the support of both the education and management teams in program development and ensure follow through on training initiatives as needed. In addition this individual will work with Precyse s designated offshore partners to ensure their training plans enable them to successfully meet Precyse standards.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement the training plan for Precyse coding professionals utilizing existing education content, leveraging both ICD9 and ICD10 training experiences and identifying additional content and methodologies required with the education and management teams to strengthen ICD9 and successfully transition to ICD10.
Collaborate and develop expectations with Precyse management and colleagues on Coding Readiness including: training objectives/competencies development, oversight and deployment of the training objectives and the plan, and on-going reporting and tracking.
Develop and conduct ongoing training sessions to further ICD10 education and works closely with the Human Resource department to offer training in support of career and growth planning efforts.
Provides coaching to colleagues on productivity and quality improvement opportunities throughout.
Acts as a teacher/mentor to colleagues whose skills require development in specific areas, as well as those colleagues who desire to learn a new skill set or require remedial education.
Develops on-going training for improved performance utilizing reports and analysis that indicate areas of opportunity for improvement.
Provides input (external, internal and industry) and serves as the conduate by providing oversight and direction of course materials for the Precyse integrated training platform/learning management system, Precyse University, and oversees plan through delivery.
Identifies areas for enhancement in the current training program for improved performance.
Helps coordinate and oversees Coding -led training conference calls to ensure they are effective.
Works closely with service line directors, regional managers, corporate compliance team and Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) to ensure appropriate orientation, communication and training of ICD10.
Monitors internal and external coder education results and shares those with the managers and QAM to ensure success
Keeps appropriate management team members abreast of colleague progress or lack thereof.
Reviews substandard coding audit quality reports to recommend areas of training/mentoring that may assist client and colleague in ICD10.
Develops coding case scenarios to support follow-up action plan and participates in annual review of pre-employment skills assessment (PSA) question evaluation.
Requirements:
Skilled inpatient/outpatient coder with a minimum of 5 years experience including complex coding on the level of large, acute care, teaching facilities required. E/M and pro-fee coding experience preferred.
Prior training and/or mentoring experience required.
Prior class-room teaching strongly preferred.
Prior experience with offshore training preferred.
ICD-10 training preferred.
Management experience including active supervision and training skills strongly preferred; ability to understand client expectations is a must.
Coding credentials required: any combination of RHIA/RHIT/CCS, or singular credential with above experience.
Bachelors degree strongly preferred.
Extensive knowledge of Coding Clinic, CPT Assistant and various major encoder products required.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
