.NET Developer SharePoint Security Clearance
Requires occasional adjusted work hours (nights, weekends, holidays) to meet important product delivery deadlines and to support launches. Occasional local travel may be required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Must be able to have a current certification (CISSP, CASP, CSSLP) or be able to obtain and maintain one of these certifications within 6 months of employment. Essential Functions: Assist Project Managers, Software Architects, and other Application Developers in requirements gathering, analysis, design, and project planning for software application development. Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel. Performs moderately complex modification, testing, and debugging tasks on vendor supplied utilities and packages to ensure fit with current operating environment. Designs, codes, and maintains complex applications to ensure applications are efficient and updated on a regular basis; may review work of less senior programmers and provide suggestions to improve product quality. Develop and implement web parts and customization of SharePoint Sites leveraging Visual Studio and .NET technologies to include non-standard functionality. Implement new features and optimize existing functionality in applications based on business requirements, and ensure that products adhere to established specifications and standards. Participates in design reviews, code reviews, test plan reviews, and documentation reviews. Reviews and edits program and user documentation for applications developed within the department to ensure that customer access to product is efficient and user-friendly. Develops and implements test plans for new and existing applications/functionality based on requirements. Develops and maintains project plans, requirements and design documents, and other system documentation including work procedures and instructions. Basic
Qualifications: Requires a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field. A Masters degree is desired. Requires a minimum of 6 years experience developing software applications with Microsoft Visual Studio. Requires significant recent experience with the following: - .NET 4.0 Framework (C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, VB.NET) - HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery - Web Services (RESTful or Web API), XML - SQL Server 2008/2012 - T-SQL Query, Stored Procedure development and optimization Requires experience with defect tracking processes and tools, and with source code version control processes and tools. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming in an n-tier architecture. Requires experience developing and maintaining software documentation. Experience with five or more of the following required: - Team Foundation Server - Windows Presentation Foundation - Windows Communication Foundation - SharePoint 2007/2010 - Entity Framework 4.0 - Service Oriented Architecture - Agile methodologies - Telerik Controls - Configuration and administration of IIS and MS SQL Server
