Planning and scheduling all maintenance work for the assigned area;
Ensuring prompt and quality service from the maintenance department;
Reviewing and clarifying the work orders;
Estimating cost and man-hours, equipment, materials and tools for each job;
Working with engineering on orders that require engineering design;
Obtaining blueprints, manuals, sketches needed;
Obtaining each department PM work load to better schedule work orders in that area.
EDUCATION: 4-year degree preferred.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
3
years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment;
Strong knowledge and understanding of mechanical and electrical systems;
Ability to estimate and schedule man hours and materials;
Ability to read and understand PIDs, blueprints and shop drawings;
Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
Desire and ability to work on the shop floor approximately 60% of the time.
