Resident Engineer (Utility and Roadway Projects)

Company has an opening for an experienced Resident Engineer in our growing Manchester, NH office to provide construction observation on municipal utility and roadway projects.
Experience should include:
15 or more years of Resident Engineering observation serving as the owner's on-site representative for small, medium and large-size sewer and drain pipe installation projects;
Installation of pre-cast and cast-in-place concrete sewer and drain structures;
Roadway reconstruction and paving;
Traffic management;
Soil management;
Temporary support of excavation systems;
Geotechnical considerations, such as:
Excavation,
Backfill and
Compaction;
Construction quantity documentation and processing contractor payment requisitions;
Project documentation (field books, record drawings, etc.);
Private utility coordination; and
Regular interaction with the public.
Erosion and sedimentation control;
You will be expected to serve as the principle contact among multiple members of the Company team and provide effective communication with the owner, the contractor, utility companies, and the public.
You must be able to operate with a high degree of independence to effect and determine the fulfillment of the construction contract requirements by the contractor.
This position requires an understanding of construction contract law and engineering sciences, and familiarity with construction scheduling processes, materials, means and methods of construction. You will be responsible for obtaining, verifying, and maintaining project documentation pertaining to daily quantities of work and work activities, record drawings, project events, correspondence, and record keeping.
You must be able to demonstrate successful past experience with similar responsibilities on large multi-million dollar construction projects. You must also demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and communicate well with the owner and client.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
