Our client, a hospital in South central VA near the NC border has a need for a day shift Hospice RN to join their team.
This is a day shift opportunity.
Assumes the responsibility for managing total patient care in the home by the provision of comprehensive skilled nursing care and coordination of other disciplines geared toward continuity of care, care directed toward established goals and outcomes and documentation reflecting care given.
Provides quality skilled nursing care to meet the physical, emotional and psychosocial needs of the client based on nursing process.
Communicates with doctor and interdisciplinary team regarding patient status/progress.
The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on his/her assigned caseload or within his/her department including knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span.
The employee must possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to his/her age/population-specific needs.
It is also necessary that the employee be able to provide the care needed as described in the unit's/area's/department's policies and procedures.
Qualifications Nursing Degree from an approved school of nursing with Baccalaureate degree preferred.
Must have at least one year's experience in nursing.
Hospice experience preferred, as well as med-surgical.
Registered nurse currently licensed to practice in the State of Virginia (or compact license).
Valid driver's license.
Proof of automobile liability insurance coverage.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
