NA Occupational Health Nurse Manager

JOB SUMMARY The Manager, Occupational Health Nurse for NAOH, will provide critical support to multiple manufacturing and non-manufacturing operations for sites in the PA, MD and FL regions and other regions as needed by the organization.
He/She will deliver the occupational health services needed to meet or exceed regulatory compliance and company guidelines.
The right candidate will be instrumental in implementing and delivering occupational health programs to employees in order to achieve a healthy and safe work environment.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Key responsibilities for this position, include but are not limited to the following:
1.
Responsible for the management and function of the Occupational Health Center in Swiftwater, PA 2.
Manage and support staff both clinical and non-clinical, at the Occupational Health Center and delegate duties as appropriate 3.
Management and oversight of contracted/consulting staff at the Occupational Health Centers and delegate duties as appropriate 4.
Evaluate, provide first aid (within her/his scope of practice) when appropriate or delegate as appropriate 5.
Oversee management all work related injuries and illnesses for his/her sites 6.
Oversight and management of appropriate delivery of OH services to those sites in the region without occupational health centers (PA, MD, FL and others as needed by the organization) 7.
Manage all OH issues for remote sites when needed 8.
Manger third party OH provider vendors for local and remote sites 9.
Oversee management of all medical surveillance programs for the region, in compliance with Federal requirements and Company standards and guidelines 10.
Work closely with HSE in regards to Industrial hygiene data interpretation as it relates to surveillance; medical input in work risk assessments; work related injuries and illnesses prevention, accommodations and return to work 11.
Attend different committees (HSE,TRIBIO, COVALIS, etc.
) or designate a representative as needed and appropriate 12.
Provide medical input in work causality determinations and referrals as needed 13.
Partner with on-site Emergency Response Team and oversee management the Medical Response Teams for the remote sites.

Manage the OH budget for the region 15.
Visit the sites (both locally and remotely) as appropriate and needed 16.
Collaborate with Medical Director and fellow NA OHNs in projects, initiatives, stakeholder management, and strategies to increase the visibility and growth of the NAOH organization 17.
Partner with HSE, HR, and Legal and any other partners for OH, ADA, RTW, FMLA and any other occupational/employee health matters 18.
Provide required reporting, stats, etc as required by NAOH #LI-SA Qualifications Basic
Qualifications:
o Bachelor's degree in Nursing o A minimum of 8 years' experience in Occupational Health o At least 3 years' management experience o At least 5 years' experience working in a large corporation:
manufacturing and non-manufacturing that includes:
o Spirometry experience/certification o Hearing Conservation experience/certification o Phlebotomy experience o Risk assessment and medical surveillance o Experience in workers compensation and OSHA o Knowledge of EAP, OSHA, FML, ADA, HIPAA o Active nursing license in Pennsylvania Preferred
Qualifications:
o Strong clinical assessment skills and comfort working autonomously o Strong interpersonal communication skills o Proficient computer skills o Knowledge of biosafety and biological risks o CPR/AED certification/Instructor o Case management experience required o Additional nursing licenses in other states may be required.
