habilitation technician (one-on-one healthcare worker) Apex
We are currently hiring for Part-Time Habilitation Technicians to provide one-on-one, direct-care services to individuals with developmental disabilities in the community and in the consumer's homes.
No experience is required, but would be WONDERFUL! If you are selected to work with a consumer, you will receive paid trainings in First Aid and CPR, North Carolina Interventions, Bloodborne Pathogens, Positioning/Turning/Transferring Consumers, Orientation, Medication Administration, and one-on-one training with the consumer you were selected to work with.
You are required to have your own transportation, a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, pass our criminal record check standards, and a High School diploma or the equivalent.
Typically, the hours vary M-F between 2:
30pm and 9:
30pm and 10am-6pm on Saturday/Sunday (applicants do not need to be available all days and there may be some morning and day shift available). We also have on-call, fill-in jobs available, which we pay at a higher rate of pay.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
