Teddy Bear Portraits by Nationwide Studios, Inc., a Children's Portraiture business servicing 46 states for over 50 years, is looking for a team member to perform a Portrait Consultant role during peak demand seasons on a part-time basis. Successful candidates will be flexible, outgoing and energetic; have an entrepreneurial spirit; self-discipline; a strong work ethic and work well with children from infants through pre-school ages.
Summary of position
Responsibilities:
Portrait Consultants return to pre-schools and early childhood education centers 2-3 weeks after the photo session for the Portrait Sales Event to sell pre-printed portrait packages and/or additional portraits to parents. The Portrait Sales Event requires flexibility with late afternoon/early evening schedules. Using established presentation methods, consultants facilitate the sale and ordering of additional portraits, accurately calculate and collect payments and send paperwork, unsold portraits, and payments to the Accounting Department per weekly schedules.
The position offers an entrepreneurial opportunity without personal financial investment and the resources of a 50

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent; will be detail oriented and patient; be accurate with good planning, problem-solving and organization; have strong communication skills and the ability to adapt productively to change. Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance. The position requires physical interaction with children, bending, stooping, walking and lifting or moving 35-50 pounds. 6
months in sales, retail, or customer service is preferred.
Education and / or Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
Background in sales, retail, or customer service preferred.
