The Transportation business unit has four main business streams - surface transportation, aviation, fleet maintenance and infrastructure services, with over 1000 personnel providing these services in the federal, state and local markets.
Our transportation surface and infrastructure business includes traffic control centers, intelligent system specification, deployment and maintenance, traveler information systems, back office capabilities, program management, congestion management and general operations.
Our business with state and local governments include parking management systems and technicality upgrades and parking enforcement.
In addition we provide fleet maintenance services to a number of public utilities and municipal authorities.
Job Description:
Analyze, diagnose, repair and maintain a variety of gasoline and diesel powered equipment:
Diggers, Lifting systems, Dump beds.
o Isolate cause of malfunctions and make corrective repair to various systems (gasoline, diesel, and/or compressed natural gas); electrical, heating, and cooling; power train differentials, transfer cases and power dividers, automatic and manual transmissions; exhaust; power plant (gasoline and diesel engine); brakes (air and hydraulic); and steering/suspensiono Services and repairs hydraulic componentso Fabricates, reconditions, and refinishes components by grinding, reaming, resurfacing, honing, aligning, and fitting of part, using gas torch and/or electric arco Analyze and diagnose vehicle malfunctions by visual and/or auditory examination or operation and use of appropriate test equipmentRequired Skills and
Experience:
o Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent, helpful to have vocational/technical trainino 3-5 years Heavy Truck experience requiredo Requires ASE Master Technician certificationso CDL Licenseo Must have some familiarity of diagnostic software to pull fault codes and trouble shoot vehicle electronic systems; o Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within heavy truck fieldBackground Checks are required.

Employment Type:
Full time.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
