We are currently seeking a full-time Parts and Accessories Associate for our Opelika, Alabama location.
Major Duties and
Responsibilities:
Greet customers immediately, in a courteous and friendly manner.
Develop and share knowledge of all Parts & Accessories merchandise, parts history, and motorcycle service.
Must possess the ability to work with several customers at one time while maintaining individual customer satisfaction.
Handle telephone transactions quickly, and courteously.
Assist customers with determination of Parts and Accessories requirements, look up of merchandise in the catalogs and on the computer.
Accept cash and credit card payments for merchandise purchases. Must keep cash register accurate.
Receive parts from distributors, check merchandise received against purchase invoice.
Conduct or participate in periodic physical inventory of all merchandise.
Become familiar and efficient with all phases of the computer system required for Parts and Accessories management.
Job Requirements:
Knowledge of motorcycle front end, suspension, and engine components and the commitment to continually develop knowledge.
Must have excellent computer skills.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be able to work weekends. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Would prefer that applicant be a motorcycle rider.
Physical Demands:
The noise level in the work environment in occasionally loud.
Occasionally required to bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift 40 lb. of merchandise.
Working Conditions:
Is potentially exposed to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle service department.
Occasionally, exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
